Ashland Barn

40x36
Sold

This is what happened when my wife Erika and I finished school in Idaho and we decided to move to Oregon. After two months living in Ashland, Oregon, I got in Living Gallery which is located in downtown Plaza in Ashland.

I was very excited and it was unexpected for me to getting to the real gallery in new town that soon. I took that as a good welcome to us in a new town.My first one man show was very successful and i presented about 8 or 9 big paintings regardless of limited of spacial in this Gallery managed to hang number of paintings on two long walls. At first the owner of Gallery was not quite sure to keeping me as a contracted Artist because of the size of my big paintings, her place is not the huge gallery to have a wall size paintings hung in there.

A few months later i found one of the Restaurants in down town Ashland named Pilaf with huge long walls where i could place all my big paintings hung there with no problem. The owner of Restaurant was happy and i covered all her walls with my colorful paintings.I sold a few paintings until a six months ago when Restaurant owner decided to sell her place and at the same time Living Gallery decided to have me back as a regular Artist. MY second show was on July 1th to Aug 10th. Ashland Barn was one of my best eye catching peace that captured lots of interest on viewers eyes.I also, presented about 7 small size paintings 11x14 .
